Yogurt can be a delicious and healthful part of a weight loss plan and overall healthy lifestyle OR it can be laden with added sugar & chemicals. These creative yogurt combinations will maximize the nutritional content, minimize sugar and still be delicious, even for picky eaters...
1 container Siggi's Vanilla Yogurt
1/2 cup raspberries, smashed (can use strawberries if you prefer)
1-2 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tbsp chocolate chia seeds
Place raspberries in a bowl & mash them. Add yogurt & unsweetened cocoa powder and mix well. Add chocolate chia seeds (Extreme Health is the brand I use). If you would like, add some whole raspberries on top!
Creamy Blueberry Banana:
1 container Siggi's Vanilla or Plain Stonyfield Petite Creme Yogurt
1/4-1/2 cup blueberries
2 tsp almond butter (I like Barney's Honey Flax)
Place blueberries in bowl and microwave about 20 seconds (until a little runny). Add banana and mash that into chunks. Add yogurt & nut butter and mix well.
